Christmas is coming early for me this year!
I was asked by the Friends of Lewes to produce an exclusive wood engraving for their Christmas card (above) the cards are now available throughout Lewes and on my webshop
If you are struggling to come and see me at any of the events below, a selection of my prints are available now and right through the Festive Season at Lewes' Tourism Centre, my workshop in East Hoathly (always a good idea to call first, I'm often out and about) or unframed prints are always at my web shop (order early to beat the Christmas rush).
Thursday the 27th November I shall be joining in East Hoathly villages late night shopping by having my own late night Open Studio. The event will centre around our village shop which has the most beautiful Georgian Cellars which at this time of year they cram full of Christmas goodies. My neighbours Rebecca Weddell and Jim Holden will also be joining in as well.
I shall be then at Uckfield Community Technology College's excellent 'Christmas Indulgence' set in the college's main hall- if you're in the Uckfield area, it really is a very high quality Art & craft fair to visit.
Then I shall be involved in Lewes' Late night shopping on the 4th of December. You'll find me at the Town Hall taking part in Carnival Creative- this was such a good event last year not even the damp weather could put people off! With all these events I will be present with a range of framed and unframed prints available. I shall be demonstrating the art of wood engraving and where possible I'll have my Adana printing press set up for people to have a go at hand printing.
And then I return to Lewes' Town Hall on Saturday the 8th December for Western Road PTA's Artist and Makers Fair- a wonderful event that has become one of the red letter days in Lewes' calender. It always manages to create quite stir in the town.
Lastly but by no means least I shall be retuning to Birling Gap and the National Trust's Christmas Craft Fair- a lovely event at a lovely location perfect for people of Eastbourne to come out and explore. It was a great event last year and this year promises to be even better!
I hope to meet you at one of the Christmas events.
In January I have two Wood Engraving Lessons planned, a perfect Christmas gift for the artist in your life! More details HERE
