A madly busy winter has seen my blog completely neglected, an extraordinary procession of wood carving kept me flat out since the end of November
one of the most exciting, has been the work I've done for Kallo the rice cracker makers for there advertising campaign - a ridiculously tight schedule meant working around the clock to finish in time.
Very cool seeing the work across London!
A new panel for my local church saw me base the letter style on the beautiful 1920's lettering found on the village war memorial inside the church
This letter carving was on a huge wooden shotgun cartridge (not turned by me) a plinth for a beautiful bronze statue
And this photo brings us up to date - I'm just putting the finishing touches to this fairytale panel a gift that will be soon heading across the Atlantic to its new owner.
And with a new advertising campaign for Kallo soon to be done the wood theme seems to be set to continue into the spring!
