I am really excited to anounce my next exhibition of my wood engravings!
Following the huge success of my first ‘Open Studio’ - a link through to a review of the first open studio can be found here: http://kattegatuk.blogspot.com/2011/09/keith-carves-niche.html?spref=fb - I’m really excited to announce my second "Open Studio". This one is going to be just a bit different! Proving I’m on trend, this time it is going to be a ‘Pop Up Open Studio’. My lovely friends Cate and Nash at the amazing Much Ado Books, Alfriston (http://www.muchadobooks.com/index.php) have allowed me to transfer my “Studio” to the Barn at Much Ado for the last weekend in November (Saturday 26th and Sunday the 27th- 10am ‘til 5pm).
I would like to invite you to visit me at this quite incredible, award-winning, independent bookshop in the idyllic Alfriston, if you’ve not discovered Much Ado yet, you are in for a treat.
I will be exhibiting my wood engravings and prints as well as demonstrating the art of engraving and the printing process. With a broad range of engravings on display from my very earliest engravings to the most up to date ones.
And my very latest engraving will be unveiled, available to buy for the first time, over the weekend “Cathedral of the Downs” Alfriston Church nestled in the beautiful Southdowns.
There will also be a range of giclee printed greetings cards taken from my scraper board illustrations available. And Christmas cards taken from some recent Linocuts I’ve completed, done as a homage to Eric Gill.
I can’t wait to see you all at Much Ado, it’s going to be an exciting weekend!
