A very busy weekend at Much Ado Books, Alfriston. And a new engraving in unveiled.
Problems with my web site has prevented me from adding this piece sooner.
The last weekend in November saw me transporting my 'Studio' to Much Ado Books Alfriston - www.muchadobooks.com - Cate and Nash my generous hosts allowed me to transform the Barn into a print workshop and exhibition space. I had a wonderful weekend, met lots of lovely people and had lots of encouraging comments about my work. I even had Anne- Nash's sister come down from London to help out. Thanks to all especially Anne, Cate, Nash and all that come in to see me.
Especially for the event I completed this engraving 'Above Alfriston' measuring 125mmx 85mm it will be an edition of 100, printed on handmade paper- Very soon I all my engravings will be available to buy on this web site, the web shop is drawing closer! Until then there a couple of events that feature my work:
Firstly the Affordable Art Show organised by Mark Greco - http://www.anaturalhistory.co.uk/ at The Hive in Lewes - http://www.thehivelewes.co.uk/ it is running at the weekends with week day visits arranged by appointment. I will be there this Saturday (10th December) and will be demonstrating the art of wood engraving, pop in and say hello.
And finally (for now!) an exciting little exhibition at the Oriental Hotel, Brighton - http://www.orientalbrighton.co.uk/index.htm
The exhibition will run throughout December through to the end of February.
