Another weeks progress on the Peacehaven Gateways and I continue to be inspired by the beauty of this place.
The holes were all eventually cut out by hand, which was quite time consuming! However, at least the reverse side of the gateways is now pretty much finished
Which means the tough job of turning them over is here....still before I start, I'm treated to a dazzling display of sunbeams
So with nothing more than a pile of wooden blocks, a steel bar, the law of leverage and gravity I turn over the slabs
The first job is to cut the chamfers with my new acquisition my Stihl MS026 - How I've managed without this beauty I don't know- it made short work (whilst still enjoying the sunbeams!
I made such good progress I was able to draw up and start the cutting of two of the designs
And a day of sunbeams ended in the only way it could......
As always, thank you for taking the time to read this entry. If you've not caught up on the story so far- here's a LINK through the original concept. And HERE a link through to one of the last updates
